Four more women accuse former NFL player of sexual assault amid existing allegations: 'Blatant lies'
Marcellus Wiley faces four new sexual assault accusations
Four more women have accused former NFL defensive lineman and ESPN analyst Marcellus Wiley of sexual assault in court filings last month. The accusers include a former ESPN production assistant who described a 2009 hotel room encounter in which Wiley allegedly emerged naked from the bathroom, pushed her against a window and then held her face down on the bed while masturbating. The claims bring the total number of women accusing Wiley to seven.
Wiley faced initial accusations in November 2023, which he dismissed as "BS." Two additional women came forward in March 2024. One of the latest accusers alleged Wiley raped her on her 18th birthday after grooming her from age 13; she said they met when he played for the Buffalo Bills and the incident occurred in Dallas during his time with the Cowboys.
Wiley, who played defensive line for the Bills from 1995 to 2001 and later the Cowboys, addressed the new allegations on his YouTube channel Tuesday. He claimed communications including emails, texts and phone records show the women continued contact or invited intimacy after the alleged incidents. Wiley called the accusations "blatant lies" and said he would produce receipts to verify his account.
